Summer Camp Overview

  • June 10th - August 2nd, 2024 // Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. // Ages 5 to 12 years

FAU Pine Jog's Summer Day Camp is a quality summer camp program which supports children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe, secure environment. Campers will experience a balance of environmental education, arts, culture, sports, and outdoor fun! Each week offers a different environmental theme. Activities include field trips, nature study, art, recreation, and much more! Breakfast, lunch, and snack will be provided!

Early Registration Weekly Fee: $150.00*
Early Registration Session Fee: $450.00*
Standard Weekly Fee: $175.00**   
Standard Registration Session Fee: $525.00**

Registration begins Friday, February 10, 2024 on a first come first serve basis, for a maximum of 120 campers per week. A non-refundable registration fee of $50 is required (this includes a water bottle and t-shirts) to secure a reservation. Any outstanding tuition fees are to be paid as per the schedule outlined below. Three weeks is considered one session.

Tuition Fee Due Dates: 

  • Session 1: Weeks #1-3. Due Friday, May 31st
  • Session 2: Weeks #4-6. Due Friday, June 21st
  • Session 3: Weeks #7-8. Due Friday, July 12th

Weekly Themes

  • Week 1: June 10-14 “Climate Warriors”. Groups will learn about the animals, plants, and habitats that are a part of their ecosystemand will be able to put them into practice by sharing with their fellow peers.
  • Week 2: June 17-21 “Wildllife Adventure”. We will be taking campers on a journey into the wilderness. Campers will be learning about wildlife, environmental conservation, and the importance of outdoor exploration! 
  • Week 3: June 24-28 “Island Olympics”-This week the campers will be able to join in on some friendly competition and sportsmanship. Everyone will be in teams and will be participating in a range of sports and challenges. 
  • Week 4: July 1-5 “Solar Friends”. As we all live in the Sunshine State, how about we learn just how powerful our sun can be, how dangerous it can be, and how we can stay safe. We shall also learn how to use the sun for energy!
  • Week 5: July 8-12 “Expedition Pine Jog”. Campers will​ climb through the native lands of Florida and learn about how nature, untouched by man, can be beautiful and how our presence affects nature as well. Nature holds many treasures, let's find them together!
  • Week 6: July 15-19 “Journey to Atlantis”- Come explore the deep blue sea as our students learn about Marine life and the treasure held in he fathoms below.
  • Week 7: July 22-26 “Time Travelers”. Campers will embark on an adventure through time, being able to learn about different historical eras. They can engage in different games, crafts, and activities that range from ancient civilizations to the future.
  • Week 8: July 29- August 2 “Hullabaloo”. Aloha Campers! Summer might be coming to a close, but we still have enough fun for you to hula through! This week we celebrate all the fun we had throughout the summer with a HULLABALOO.
