H2O to Go Global is hosted by Florida Atlantic University, Pine Jog Environmental Education Center. It is a 10 day international research and field based program based at EARTH University. The program focus is on sustainability, conservation, and tropical agriculture in the global south country of Costa Rica.
EARTH University is a non-profit international university. EARTH is dedicated to preparing young people of Latin American, the Caribbean and other regions of the world, including Africa and Asia, to contribute to the sustainable development of their countries and construct a prosperous an just society.

Accommodation
EARTH – Guácimo In the heart of the tropical Caribbean lowlands of Costa Rica resides EARTH University. The 8,342-acre campus includes classrooms, laboratories, sustainable academic farms, sporting and recreational facilities, chief operational offices, student and faculty residences, a commercial banana plantation, reforested areas and a large, protected rainforest reserve.
EARTH–La Flor is located in the dry tropics of Costa Rica’s Guanacaste province. Donated to EARTH in 2005 by the family of former Costa Rican President Daniel Oduber Quirós, this 3,700-acre property is being transformed into a hub for research, development and innovation. It also is home to EARTH’s Master’s in Agribusiness Innovation program as well as the seven-week stays of third-year students implementing sustainable development projects in nearby communities
Who should apply?
This program is offered to all incoming 10th -12th grade students that have completed (at minimum) H20 to Go! Connections. High School students that complete the week and all associated assignments with receive a certificate of completion. No dual enrollment course credit is available for this program at this time.
Spaces are limited. Only 12 students will be able to register for the program. Early registrations will be successful, and a waiting list will be created for those who apply after the program has reached capacity.
How to apply?
Registration forms need to be printed, completed, scanned and submitted via email to chill38@fau.edu .
- Successful applicants will be informed of acceptance after the deadline, and will receive further registration information in preparation for their visit.

Program Fee:
$4200 per student. 50% payment is required on acceptance to the program with the remaining payment to be made three months prior to the program. A payment link will be provided.
Fee includes:
flights, accommodation, 3 meals per day, destination fees, 24/7 FAU staff supervision, transportation, medical insurance and all program fees for the 10 day trip.
